We enjoyed the beautiful beach that was almost uninhabited.

We found the VRBO reviews on Little Arches to be accurate and we have hopes of returning there as soon as possible. We enjoyed the beautiful beach that was almost uninhabited. We walked there each morning and late afternoon. We rented the lower two bedrooms with four children. We found it to be great for our family. Kim was very helpful and and her wonderful housekeeper even helped us out when we lost our key in the beach sand. Fortunately, our next door neighbors found it for us the next morning. The residents of the island are great and the visitors seem to a better sort than you might find at a major tourist destination. The pleasant attitude by everyone on the island is a major reason that we will return.

Wow.What a great place to visit. I am all about the beach and this one is pristine.Kim was very helpful and communicative. Little Arches is a perfect place to stay. All is tastfully renovated and has everything you could possibly need even things like a drying rack for bathing suits, beach toys and chairs, and a portable crib!Staying here felt like staying at a friend's house in a good way, comfortable. After all the research I did about Harbour Island and where to stay, I can say it is really the best value on the island to stay at Kim's. You can cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner to save money some days. Staying here gives you the option. I also walked every morning on the beach, it's a stone's throw from the house. Our 4 yr. old daughter's favorites was playing on the beach everyday and getting around on the golf cart. I think that was my husband's and my favorites too. We want to go back. Thx. Kim

We had a wonderful stay at Little Arches - it was comfortable, quiet, convenient and spotless. Kim helped us finalize everything and made sure we were happy while there. She even had fresh banana bread delivered to us! We will definitely go back!

My daughters and I were in much need of a quiet vacation spot in paradise. Kim's home and Harbour Island fit the bill. Kims attention to detail made our visit very easy to manage. She thought of everything, from the golf cart at the house when we arrived, as requested, to the homemade key lime pie made by the housekeeper. We went fishing with Jeff Fox and cought 11 Black Fin Tuna. The chef at Aquapazza prepared them perfectly for us for dinner. That is just one example of the perfect days we spent on the island. Susan

Little Arches is a fantastic place to stay if you are planning on visiting Harbour Island. Kim is great, the housekeeper is wonderful and the island itself is simply Paradise. My husband and I spent our honeymoon there. The house is fabulous, Kim has worked hard to make it homey and relaxing for her guests. We stayed in the one bedroom upstairs and it was perfect for our needs. Very spacious, wonderful amenities. Since we were on our honeymoon and really just wanted no agenda and to relax we didn't do a lot of the fishing, or other excursiouns but just merely stayed in and/or visited the beach. Kim will provide you with plenty of information and follow her lead because she knows exactly what she's talking about. We will be back!

We just returned from a stay in the Honeymoon Suite at Little Arches. The place is spacious and comfortable, and very tastefully done. The beach is absolutely incredible and there were very few people there but us. The town is just charming. We could not stop taking photos! Don't miss lunch at SipSip, which was recommended by Kim, and which we enjoyed greatly.

The only problem we had with your place on Harbour Island was leaving it. I can verify everything on the website is not only true but understated. Your home worked perfect for what we had in mind in celebrating our 25th anniversary with family and close friends. We had a fantastic time on the island. Thank you for your help in setting things up with Michael for the golf carts and Tomassa for the Bahamian dinner. We're still talking about the great food she prepared for the 8 people. We hope to visit again and will be in touch for availability of the house. If ever you need a reference for the house or your hospitality please have them contact me.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Harbour Island and it was mainly due to our accomodations at Little Arches! The house was so lovely and so homey - a dream after staying in a cramped hotel room. Kim, the house was so thoughtfully appointed and everything was set up for our family's stay. On the evening of our arrival Kim called to make sure everything was okay and welcome us to the island. I loved that you were easy to get in touch with when I had questions. Thanks so much! Thomassa, the housekeeper, was thorough and friendly and a great source of knowledge directing us to grocers, etc during our stay. All the advance information was fabulous - we knew exactly where to go and whom to call for any services we needed, taxi, golf cart rental, etc. The house was so close to the beach we could just pop down for a while and come back "home" and then go back when we wished. Kim made everything just so easy! Thanks so much for a wonderful home away from home.

We stayed at Little Arches in March 2009 and had a great time. We were very pleased with the look, the feel, and the cleanliness of the house - and were very happy about the location. We had never been to Harbour Island before, and looking through the choices on the web sites was a little overwhelming. Many of the Dunmore town sites looked a LOT better on the web than they did when we saw them on the island, and so we were very happy we chose Little Arches. The location is definitely on the calm and quiet side of the island. The beach access is to the Atlantic side, as opposed to the Bay, which was perfect for my family. I would highly recommend this property. It is true what you read about Harbour Island - everyone is friendly and happy to assist you in finding a great place to eat, etc.

What can we say! Easily one of the best vacations of all time for us. And a huge part of making the trip great was staying a Little Arches. The accommodations were stellar. And having the Vonage phone and Wifi helped me stay connected - as a business owner I needed to keep connected. We liked Little Arches soo much that we are planning on staying there for a few weeks next year and potentially a summer trip this year. Kim is also the best...very responsive and helpful. Best place to stay in the Bahamas hands down.

Our stay was a delight! Kim was a great help in explaining how to get around and where to go. I must admit her suggestion to go to Angela's Starfish for coconut pie was a downfall for us, we went every day we were there! Her home is clean, fresh, and well maintained. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

My wife and I stayed in Little Arches for a week. The Honeymoon suite was delightfully furnished and had all the mod cons necessary for a comfortable stay. The beach was a short 50m stroll away (OK we were lazy and took the cart!), with beautiful pink sand and blue water awaiting. We had a fantastic time on Harbour Island and next time we're in the Bahamas will definitely come back to Little Arches. A big thanks to Kim for helping to arrange carts and taxis and giving us tips on what to do around the island.

We stayed in the 1BR in Nov 2008. We have a 2yo son and the apt is a great size for a small family. The owner provided a large blow up mattress in the bedroom for our son which was perfect. There is ample room and the apt has a very nice feel not to mention one only has to walk across the street to the beach. It's a great relaxing spot to call home for a week or two.

We stayed at Little Arches from June 7 to the 14th 2008. We rented the 2 bedroom for my husband, son and I - as well as the small studio (downstairs) for my 2 younger sisters. The big studio upstairs was empty while we were there. The house was very comfortable - everything was in pristine condition and tastefully decorated. We got to the house from the dock with no issues whatsoever - Reggie's taxi was key. The only downside was that there is no back-up electrical generator for those times when the power grid goes down (about an hour or 3 just about every day) and the house got a little stuffy. The beach was absolutely amazing - there are several places to park your golf cart and access the strand. The water is just as amazing as the photos if not more so...and the sand feels like baby powder under your feet. The water was also the perfect temperature and the island seemed to enjoy a permanent refreshing breeze. I would recommend Harbour Island to anybody who likes the beach, good food, and relaxing with friends/family. My husband, our 3 year old, and I had a great time doing family at the beach stuff...and my 21 year old twin sisters had a blast going to the local hangouts at night (Gusty's and Vic Hum's were the 2 they mentioned most) and tanning during the day. One thing that we all enjoyed - going to happy hour at Romora Bay's bar "Sunsets on the Bay" - Ambrose was the MAN...and he made sure that we all had a cool drink (lemonade for my little guy) and something tasty to eat. Watch out for the Goombay Smash...it's stronger than you think! We went there 3 times during our trip and would definitely recommend passing by to anybody who happens to be lucky enough to be on Harbour Island. Bottom line - We hope to be back on Harbour Island one day very soon - and we would definitely choose Little Arches again. :-) Enjoy!!!

My wife and I rented Kim's house for a week in Febuary. We stayed on the top floor. The appartment was very clean and well thought out for two people especially with the two generous bathrooms. All the appliances worked including the overhead fans to keep us cool at night. There was enough of a cross breeze so we did not need the air conditioning. From the terra
